There are six editions of this book out there. First edition, four revised editions with the word "revised" in the upper right corner in green, purple, red, and blue respectively, and the final edition - all with roster changes. There's a nice tribute to Casey, and this yearbook (which kicks off the Mets first year at Shea) has a couple of the construction pictures. Best seat in the house cost $3.50, general admission was $1.30.
There are three of these. First, first revised, and second revised as noted by a black box in the upper right hand corner. All these books are the same except for roster changes. The yearbook starts to grow up a little, the inside pages are all on heavier glossy paper and the full color team picture debuts in the middle of the book in two page splendor.
Believe it or not there was one edition this year. Maybe they knew that collectors forty years later would like to have a yearbook of the Miracle Mets without having to worry about which revised edition they had or which one was rarest. If you got one, you got one!
