| On August 16th, the Mets announced the members of its All Amazin' Team during a press conference at Shea Stadium. The team was chosen by Mets fans earlier this season who voted online, at Shea, and from Sunday Newsday ballots. The All Amazin' team was introduced in a pregame ceremony prior to Saturday's game, and the first 40,000 fans in attendance were given given a set of Fleer playing cards commemorating the players, as well as the Mets teams from 1962, 1969 and 1986. The All Amazin's include three current Mets, six members of the 1986 squad, and five members of the 1969 Amazin' Mets.
